Oggi, la software house cinese Shanda Entertainment, ha annunciato DOA ONLINE: un online game per PC ispirato alla mitica serie di picchiaduro della Tecmo e realizzato per un target di casual gamers. Il gioco dovrebbe essere disponibile entro l'inizio dei giochi olimpici delle 2008 e si prevede che avrà una grafica meno spinta rispetto a DOA per Xbox 360 al fine di garantire la possibilità di girare anche sui computer meno potenti degli utenti cinesi.
