Korg DS-10 Synthesizer has finally been dated! It will be out in USA on 30 september and will be released by Xseed Games. European date has not yet been set but NOE (Nintendo Of Europe) willl directly be in charge of the distribution in European countries.

The Japanese doujin circle TEAM DSX will release HALF ELF TENTACLE ASSAULT DS:  an hentai / bishoujo game for Nintendo DS during Comiket 71 (on 16th august)!!

Now I just wait that Propellerhead will wake up and produce my old dreasm: a DS version of Rebirth (I'm dreaming about a portable version of Rebirth since Game Boy Advance and the first time I saw the DS I tough that Roland sooner or later will produce a card with a 303 or a 909 emulator) !

The Japanese magazine "Hoshi Navi" (published by Astro Arts) has just announced that this summer they will release "Starry Sky Navi": a stars observation software for Nintendo DS. The card will have a built in tilt sensor so that it will be easier to locate planets and stars and identify constellations. Both occasional or passionate stargazers and serious amateur astronomers will consider this card like a dream come true (no more laptops to carry with your telescope to run tracking programs).


In addition, there is a build in astronomical encyclopedia and it's possible to change time or place to simulate different sky views (like for example next year's solar eclipse in Hawaii).
A playable version for this software will be exhibited during the Photoimaging Expo that will be held in the Tokyo Big Sight from 19 to 22 march. I'm sure this will be a pretty popular card among Japanese boys who want to get the chance to watch the sky with a nice girl...

DevinQuest has released the Nintendo DS porting of the Fate/Stay Night bishoujo game for PC released by Type Moon during 2004. Actually this homebrew is based on the taikenban (PC demo) translated in english by insani.

Our friends at Neo Flash (at the beginning of the DS Era Neo Flash has been the very first videogame hacking group to release a flash card for the Nintendo portable) have just updated the R6 Gold: a really cool Micro SD based Flash card with motion sensing capabilities (thanks to an X,Y,Z 3-axis high speed accelerometer and a GYRO sensor).

Today Success has released Izuna 2 for DS (the second chapter of the Rpg dungeon crawler know in USA as Izuna: Legend of the Unemployed Ninja). Gamers who will buy this title in the Japanese shop  Sofmap will get this box sexy box that looks exacltly like the package of PC eroge (Hentai videogames).



Today Akiba Blog spotted in Sofmap a really interesting "plastic oppai" promotion for a new eroge from Marine (NSFW). You can  download a trial version of this game (released on 21 December) from these mirrors: Holyseal,  mirror.fuzzy2.com,  Mirror D-Station or Xgame Electronic Station.

A Japanese gamer has scanned the Famitsu cross reviews of the original Dragon Quest IV for Famicom and the Playstation and DS ports. The DS version has been released yesterday and seems that Akiba went crazy for it!

Sabato è uscito Zelda Phantom Hourglass per DS: l gioco che potrebbe fare vendere ancora più DS (anche se la cosa sembra impossibile visti i livelli di vendita attuali).
Durante il World Hobby Fair le postazioni di prova nello stand della Nintendo sono state letteralmente prese d'assalto e i negozi giapponesi sono letteramente tappezzati da Zelda Phantom Hourglass  (tanto che ormai i giochi PS3 sono relegati nelll'angolo che una volta competeva al GameCube... curiosa legge del contrappasso).

Oggi si conclude il New Generation World Hobby Fair: la fiera dei videogiochi giapponesi e dei toys arrivata alla sua 26ma edizione. Questo evento, ospitato dal Makuhari Messe,  la stessa struttura del Tokyo Game Show (TGS), ha riscosso un grande successo fra i videogiocatori più giovani e ha visto la partecipazione di molte bambine (conferma di un trend mondiale della crescita del numero di videogiocatrici). Si tratta di un evento gratuito e quindi riesce ad attrarre le famiglie e anche chi è solo curioso di vidoegiochi. Oltre al  DuelPod della Bandai, che abbiamo presentato ieri in esclusiva assoluta (prima post nella blogosfera non giapponese!!), sono state mostrate varie novità interessanti grazie anche alla presenza della Nintendo che invece non è presente al TGS. Almeno a giudicare dalle lunghe file dei visitatori che aspettavano di poter provare i giochi, la fiera è stata dominata dal Wii console che, insieme al DS, ha conquistato cuori e portafogli dei gamers giapponesi. Il titolo che ha riscosso maggior successo è The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass il capolavoro per DS (punteggio di Famitsu 39 su 40) uscito proprio oggi nei negozi giapponesi.
Per il Wii, oltre a Puyo Puyo della Sega e Mario Party 8,  si poteva provare Donkey Kong Jet Race  (disponibile in Giappoone dal 28 giugno) che, originalmente previsto per GameCube, è un frenetico racing game in cui bisogna agitare alternativamente il nunchaku e il wimote per  accelerare  mentre per girare a destra basta agitare solo il controller di destra (e viceversa).
La Bandai ha presentato Dragon Tamer  "Sound Spirit": un RPG  in cui si utilizza il microfono del DS per invocare  e potenziare i draghi (almeno questo è quello che abbiamo capito). Inoltre era possibile provare il nuovissimo Kekkaishi sia per Wii (tratto dall'omonimo manga/anime) che  in versione DS (già disponibile sul mercato da qualche settimana),  Taiko  DS et.
Fra gli stand era possibile provare chicche come la versione arcade di Rythm Tengoku per gba (purtroppo era disponibile solo un cabinato e l'attesa era interminabile!) o, presso lo stand della Tamiya, Mini 4WD Online Racer sviluppato dalla Cave. Si tratta di un videogiocho online gratuito (almeno per il momento) dedicato alle mitiche Mini 4WD e stranamente, pur trattandosi di una licenza piuttosto amata dai vidoegiocatori, è stato presentato solo dalla nostra rivista GAMERS (nel numero due) passando sotto il radar delle più note riviste italiane ed europee di videogiochi che, evidentemente, senza un ufficio stampa pronto ad "oliare" i processi editoriali non perdono tempo a presentare giochi che i lettori possono scaricare gratuitamente...
Jushinden è un impressionante titolo per DS in uscita il 27 settembre per la Konami. Si tratta di un mix fra un card game "reale" e un gioco per DS (con lettore di card inserito nello slot 2). Ecco un video del gioco direttamente dal sito Konami.

Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball per il Wii uscirà il 19 luglio in contemporanea con la versione PS2. Questo simulatore di basball uscito per la prima votla su Famicom è molto amato in Giappone e la Konami sia aspetta grandi risultati da questo online game sportivo (in Giappone il Basball è amato tanto quanto il calcio in Italia).


Sarugetchu, la scimmietta che sta salvando la Sony dall'oblio (almeno fra i bambini Giapponesi che, ancora più degli adulti, sembrano non essere troppo itneresasti al brand Playstation 2,3 o portatile che sia) ritornerà a fine luglio in un nuovo gioco per PSP:   Ape Escape SaruSuru.

La SquareEnix, oltre all'appena uscito Itadaki Street (Spinoff di Mario e Dragon Quest), ha presentato l'attesissimo titolo per DS Subarashiki: It's a wonderfull World che uscirà il 27 luglio e che sembra destinato a diventare uno dei nuovi bestseller per il portatile Nintendo.

Gli unici due titolo per Playstation 3 presenti alla fiera sono stati Minna no Golf 5 (Everybody's Golf 5) e Boko no Natsu oyasumi 3: un piccolo capolavoro di videogioco, semi sconosciuto in Europa, ma molto amato dai videogiocatori giapponesi per il tono nostalgico in cui viene simulata su console una vacanza estiva...


Mini 4WD Online Racer: un videogioco online per PC dedicato alle leggendarie Mini 4WD della Tamiya che quest'anno compiono 20 anni di vita.



Treasure Island Z  della Cpcom è un titolo per il Wii molto atteso. Durante la fiera non era possibile  fare una prova approfondita, ma da quanto visto sembra che le aspettative per questa divenrtente caccia al tesoro sull'isola dei pirati non saranno tradite.
