Mignonette is a do-it-yourself electronic game console, created by EVIL MAD SCIENTIST, Rolf van Widenfelt and Mitch Altman, to let every gamer out there learn about soldering, microcontrollers, and game programming.
The original idea comes from the Mignon Game Kit that was done in Germany several years ago. The Mignonette is based on an AVR microcontroller (either the ATmega88 or ATmega168) hooked up to drive a 5x7 bicolor red/green LED matrix display. Basically this is a 70 bits gaming console...

Frankie is on Japanese TV!!
di Frankie (09/10/2008 - 01:56)

Today on J-Model Works I found a video of me being interviewed by a Japanese TV during the Shizuoka Hobby Show 2008. I'm happy that the interview has been cut so the super cute Japanese girl who made it is not visibile (I keep staring to her... "eyes"... she was so... MOELICIOUS!! )

In this image on the left I'm with geek legends like Matt Alt, Patrick Macias and Adam "The king of Toys" from Bandai. I'm pretty sure that TV should have interviewed them not me... ^_^'
