The Japanese videogame hacker Nekokabu has just released a RAW ripper for the double layer discs Wii games like Super Smash Bros.

A lot of Japanese users reported problems with the Super Smash Brothers... Seems that this game uses a double layer disc and so Wii with dirt lenses can't run the "Sumabra" so Nintendo is asking players who got problems to send their Wii to Nintendo for a free lens cleaning (maybe selling 500.000 copies in one day helped Nintendo do be, once in a while, generous with players)...

(via Create Digital Music) Since I made techno records with an Amiga 500 at the beginning of the nineties I love creating something with tools that are meant to do other things. Db3ll has just posted a great retrogame themed video made with Ableton Live (that's anything but a video animation editor)...
